Local initiatives

All sections of ESN Bulgaria take active participation in the SocialErasmus project.

Some of the local initiatives include:

• Martenitsa workshops were held in the three cities of ESN Bulgaria: Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo and Varna.

Special attention should be paid to the ESN UE-Varna's campaign. The Erasmus students and the ESN-ers made over 230 beautiful “martenitsi” with the kids from the home for children deprived of parental care "Knyaginya Nadezda" in Varna.  The martenitsi were then sold in the University of Economics - Varna whose students had the opportunity to give their financial support.

• Eggs painting workshops for Easter

• Give a hand, take a shot!  - a charity party organised in November 2011 in Sofia. The party power of the Erasmus students this time helped the handicapped children in “Maria Luiza” Centre, Buzovgrad.
